Once a document has been electronically signed, it is protected from editing per the most current laws governing e-signatures.
All it really tells you, is that this is an e-signed document, and no change of any kind will be allowed to this document due to the esignature. That's not necessary unless you have reasons to doubt the signature is valid (as in, you're not the person who sent this for a signature). If you click the link in that message to open the signature panel, it will say this in plain language and prompt if you want to install the certificate. This is an information message, not a true error. SOLUTION: The reason that the error says the signature is invalid is because FoxIt did not perform the e-signature, so it doesn't recognize the e-signed certificate.
PROBLEM: You receive the following purple message on the document, and all of your editing features are greyed out:
